Bug reports, feedback, suggestions and questions are all welcome. If thedebugger gave you a result that disagrees with Git, that is especially worth hearing about — it means either the tool has a bug or its explanation wasn't clear enough, and both are worth fixing.

For a wrong result, pasting the file path and the.gitignore rules you used — along with whatgit check-ignore -v said instead — makes it reproducible in seconds. Nothing is logged on this site, so a report is the only way a problem can reach me.
Email is an ordinary mailbox, so it sits outside theprivacy policy's promise that nothing is collected: that promise covers what you type into the tool, which never leaves your browser. Only send what you're comfortable sharing, and please redact any real credentials from a path or rule before you do.
